Nicole Scherzinger<\/a> thinks the Pussycat Dolls would “look like Lizzo, Demi Lovato [and] Billie Eilish” if they were put together now.<\/p>\n

Nicole Scherzinger thinks ideas of what is sexy have changed<\/p>\n

The Poison hitmaker shot to fame as a member of the girl group and while they were known for their rauncy image, she thinks the idea of what is “sexy” now has changed a lot in recent times.<\/p>\n

She told Billboard magazine: \u201cWhen I was thinking of the Pussycat Dolls \u2014 and I\u2019m so proud of the Pussycat Dolls \u2014 I\u2019m thinking about, \u2018What would the Pussycat Dolls look like today?\u2019 <\/p>\n

“The Pussycat Dolls would look like Lizzo; like Demi Lovato; like Billie Eilish<\/a>. It\u2019s unconventional. It\u2019s not what you would think. For me, that\u2019s so important. <\/p>\n

“Ten years ago, 20 years ago, being sexy was about being sexy for someone else. Now being sexy is about feeling sexy in your own skin, feeling strong about owning, embracing and loving and accepting yourself. It\u2019s called evolution. <\/p>\n

\n“It\u2019s called times are a\u2019changin\u2019. It\u2019s about inclusivity. It\u2019s about accepting yourself and not trying to conform and be put in a box.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nNicole is a mentor and judge on new talent show Building the Band and she was keen to “bring out the best” in the contestants.<\/p>\n

\nShe said: \u201cI want to see the best in people. How can I bring out the best in you, as a human and as an artist? Find the strengths and focus on the strengths. How can we encourage, how can we empower? And that\u2019s what we should do for anyone.<\/p>\n

\n“Not only in Building the Band, but in life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nThe “social experiment” follows young singers from across the globe who form groups without having met in real life, only coming together in person for their debut performance and Nicole was excited by the concept.<\/p>\n

\nShe said: \u201cIt was solely based off of music compatibility and chemistry and connection. Sight unseen…<\/p>\n

\n\u201cI love doing things that break all the rules. It doesn\u2019t get any more real than having a band put themselves together without any record execs or labels telling them what they have to do, what they have to look like. That doesn\u2019t work anymore. That\u2019s the old formula.\u201d<\/p>\n
