Hope at last! Emma Watson<\/a> confirmed she would \u201cabsolutely\u201d return to the big screen after stepping away from acting<\/a> nearly five years ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I\u2019m happy to sit and wait for the next right thing<\/a>,\u201d the 33-year-old noted during an interview published Saturday, April 28.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love what I do,\u201d Watson confirmed while having lunch with a news outlet at the Bistrot des Grands Crus in Chablis, France, last September, which was when the interview took place. \u201cIt\u2019s finding a way to do it where I don\u2019t have to fracture myself into different faces and people<\/a>. And I just don\u2019t want to switch into robot mode any more.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDoes that make sense?\u201d she asked regarding her struggle to have her passions and profession come together as one.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t very happy, if I\u2019m being honest,\u201d Watson expressed of her pre-hiatus career<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The last time the actress blessed fans with a role was in December 2018, when she wrapped up production for the 2019 adaptation of Greta Gerwig<\/a>\u2019s Little Women.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI think I felt a bit caged. The thing I found really hard was that I had to go out and sell something that I really didn\u2019t have very much control over. To stand in front of a film and have every journalist be able to say, \u2018How does this align with your viewpoint?\u2019\u201d the Harry Potter<\/em> star<\/a> detailed of her past experiences. \u201cIt was very difficult to have to be the face and the spokesperson for things where I didn\u2019t get to be involved in the process.\u201d<\/p>\n
