Candace Cameron Bure<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about the time her marriage to Valeri Bure<\/strong><\/a> was saved by their son, Lev<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The 49-year-old Full House<\/em> star spoke out on the latest episode of her podcast about a tough time in her marriage.<\/p>\n \u201cVal <\/strong>and I went through a really, really rough season in our marriage in 2020, and that\u2019s when the pandemic hit,\u201d she admitted.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was going south quickly, and we were like, \u2018I don\u2019t know, don\u2019t think\u2026we\u2019re gonna make it through.\u2019 But at one point, [our son] Lev<\/strong> preached, like, a 45-minute sermon on marriage to us. Just had his Bible open on the couch and just talked about it.\u201d<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAnd I\u2019ll never forget, because he said, \u2018You know, I know I haven\u2019t been married. and I\u2019m just a young kid. And so it\u2019s probably hard to take marriage advice from someone this young who never experienced it before. But I don\u2019t need to be married to know what the word of God says,\u2019\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n Candace<\/strong> and Valeri <\/strong>have been married since 1996, after first being introduced at a charity hockey game by her Full House <\/em>costar Dave Coulier<\/strong><\/a>. They have two other kids: Natasha<\/strong>, 26, and Maksim<\/strong>, 23, who were both also present for the discussion.<\/p>\n Lev<\/strong> is now 25.<\/p>\n She said her son \u201cwas such a calm voice that had so much wisdom behind it\u201d that she and her husband \u201cwalked away\u201d from the experience thinking to themselves, \u201cWe raised some pretty good kids.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt was so in our face, but that was like the pivotal moment \u2014 it really changed for us after that talk. There was a lot more to it, but it\u2019s a whole different scenario when your kids sit you down to have a talk and go, \u2018Are you being as mature as you can be?\u2019 I\u2019m so grateful to Lev<\/strong> and Maks<\/strong> and Natasha<\/strong>,\u201d she concluded. \u201cThey were so supportive of everything.\u201d<\/p>\n She also revealed that she thinks watching scary movies can be a portal to something \u201cdemonic.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
