Jamie Foxx, the Academy Award-winning actor, has been hospitalized since April 11, and his close friend Charles Alston, also known as \u201cCharlie Mack\u201d or \u201cMr. Philadelphia,\u201d has taken to Instagram to ask for prayers and well wishes for the actor.<\/p>\n
In his May 1 Instagram post, Charles requested everyone to keep Jamie in their thoughts and prayers and stated, \u201cWe need you back Bro. As I always state a true champion isn\u2019t the one that wins, it\u2019s the one that meets & overcomes adversity!! You\u2019re test becomes your testimony!!\u201d<\/p>\n
He continued by saying, \u201cWe all can\u2019t wait to receive you back home to celebrate, laugh with and applaud you!!\u201d Charles asked for mercy from \u201cAllah The Creator of the Heavens & Earth,\u201d and begged for his \u201cmerciful healing powers\u201d over Jamie.<\/p>\n
Jamie\u2019s hospitalization was a shock to fans, as his friend Nick Cannon had suggested that he was on the mend in an interview with Entertainment Tonight on April 23. However, he did not provide any details about Jamie\u2019s condition.<\/p>\n
Before that, a source had told the outlet that Jamie was \u201chealing\u201d and \u201cfeels the love from everyone.\u201d Jamie\u2019s 29-year-old daughter, Corinne Foxx, publicly announced his hospitalization through an Instagram post. She shared that Jamie had experienced a medical complication but is on his way to recovery, thanks to quick action and great care.<\/p>\n
