People\u2019s Choice Awards at Barker Hangar on November 10, 2019 in Santa Monica, California. <span class=\"image-caption-credit\"> (Photo by Frazer Harrison\/Getty Images)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>That revelation comes courtesy of Jax\u2019s appearance on a podcast hosted by addiction and recovery specialist Richard Taite.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2025\/07\/08\/jax-taylor-richard-taite-rage-reaction-brittany-cartwright-hookup-with-friend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Taylor revealed<\/a> that he smashed furniture when Brittany told him of her fling. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow could this be happening to me? I have no interest in it. I\u2019m not triggered by it.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut so now I can look back and say, \u2018What the f\u2013k was I doing? Why didn\u2019t I stop this years ago?\u2019\u201d Taylor continued, adding that he\u2019s made a whole new group of friends in recovery:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to make it very clear, I\u2019m not going to ever stop going to AA for the rest of my life. I love it. It\u2019s like a drug to me. I love going and meeting the guys,\u201d he said. \u201c:My sober friends, I\u2019ve shifted from my drunk friends, now I have a sober group of friends. We have a great time.
