This despite Bieber\u2019s apparent bong-and-blunt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/03\/justin-bieber-bong-photo-sparks-new-round-of-concern-criticism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">videos<\/a> and his admitted history of substance abuse.<\/p>\n<p>Now, despite the denials of drug use, he\u2019s opening up about detoxing.<\/p>\n<p>Some fans are expressing relief. Justin Bieber using the term might not be as clear as people imagine.<\/p>\n<p>For most, the most accurate interpretation is the most literal one. <\/p>\n<p>The first stage of rehab, for some, is simply avoiding a toxic substance \u2014 whether it is alcohol or a harder drug.<\/p>\n<p>The detox process allows the substance to leave one\u2019s system and, of course, for an addict to undergo withdrawal. This is only the beginning of the recovery process, and not the end.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Sharing stoner selfies like he\u2019s not 31 with a baby at home. This is particular true among the wealthy (like Bieber) and the very gullible (like Bieber).<\/p>\n<p>Some people will purge massive sections of their diets and call it a \u201cdetox.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They will drink diuretic teas and imagine that their body is cleansing itself of harmful substances such as microplastics, mercury, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Is this scientific? No. Is this medically advisable? <em>Also <\/em>no. <\/p>\n<p>When a doctor puts someone on an exclusion diet to detect allergies and more, that\u2019s one thing. We can only guess as to what he\u2019s thinking)<\/p>\n<p>If Bieber was abusing substances and is no longer doing that, this is wonderful news!
