Ozzy Osbourne<\/a> reunited with all his original Black Sabbath bandmates for his final ever live performance on Saturday (05.07.25).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n

The 76-year-old rocker was joined onstage at Birmingham’s Villa Park by Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for the first time since 2005, as he prepared to say goodbye to performing live.<\/p>\n
The stadium erupted into huge cheers when Ozzy appeared on stage and he told fans: \u201cYou have no idea how I feel.\u201d<\/p>\n
42,000 fans packed into Villa Park for the sold-out Back to the Beginning show, which saw Ozzy and Black Sabbath return to their hometown, 56 years after the band was formed in the city.<\/p>\n
Ozzy has undergone seven surgeries in the past five years and he has also been living with Parkinson\u2019s disease since 2003. <\/p>\n
\nWhile he plans to continue making music, the rock legend has insisted Saturday\u2019s performance will be his final one on stage.<\/p>\n
\nHe told the crowd: \u201cIt’s so good to be on this f****** stage. Let the madness begin! You’ve got no idea how I feel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nOzzy performed a selection of hits including I Don’t Know, Blizzard of Ozz and Suicide Solution. <\/p>\n
\nAnthrax, Guns N’ Roses and Metallica all performed during the 10 hour concert, while there were also surprise video messages from the likes of Dolly Parton and Jack Black.<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, Tool etc. vocalist Maynard James Keenan previously revealed he was concerned about whether Ozzy would be able to take to the stage.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking to Loudwire Nights, he said: \u201cI think for me, seeing Ozzy moving around at that event, the idea of him playing a show at all, if we\u2019re being honest\u2026<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd even now, I\u2019m cautious about saying, \u2018Yeah! All in, he\u2019s gonna do it.\u2019 Because man, I don\u2019t know what kind of modern miracles we\u2019ll come up with to get him on stage to do the songs, but this is gonna be a challenge for them. So \u2026 I\u2019m kinda preparing for the worst = but hoping for the best, as they say.\u201d<\/p>\n
