Chase Chrisley<\/strong><\/a> is giving fans new insight into what they can expect from his family\u2019s upcoming docuseries following his parent\u2019s presidential pardon.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s very different than Chrisley Knows Best<\/em>, because as I\u2019m sure anyone knows, Chrisley Knows Best<\/em> was a family sitcom,\u201d Chase told People<\/em><\/a> in an interview published on Tuesday, July 1. \u201cThis is just raw, raw footage, raw. I\u2019m like, \u2018Can we go back to Chrisley Knows Best?\u2019 Yeah, \u2018Let\u2019s just laugh.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Since the family\u2019s inaugural reality TV series, Chrisley Knows Best,<\/em> came to an end in March 2023, fans have been unable to see Todd Chrisley<\/strong><\/a> and his wife, Julie Chrisley<\/strong><\/a>, showcase their family life with kids, Chase, Savannah<\/strong><\/a> and Grayson Chrisley<\/strong>. (The couple also share adopted daughter Chloe<\/strong>, and Todd has two older kids from a previous relationship.)<\/p>\n In May, news broke that Lifetime was working with the Chrisley family on a new docuseries tentatively titled The Untitled Chrisleys Project<\/em> following Todd and Julie\u2019s arrest and subsequent conviction for bank fraud and tax evasion \u2014 acts the couple still deny.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Chrisleys don\u2019t know best anymore,\u201d a Lifetime statement said when teasing the upcoming project. \u201cBut they\u2019re doing their best to be there for each other.\u201d<\/p>\n After president Donald Trump<\/strong> issued full pardons for the couple in May, the docuseries will now include the couple\u2019s return home and attempts to establish a new \u201cnormal\u201d in the wake of their incarceration.<\/p>\n \u201cWe were actually at the tail end of filming,\u201d he explained. \u201cWe\u2019re still filming a little bit. I feel like for so long on Chrisley Knows Best<\/em>, I played a character. Savannah played a character. We all did. We\u2019re actually being able to be open and vulnerable, and show the highs, and show the lows, and no matter how low we get kicked down, we\u2019re still going to get back [up].\u201d<\/p>\n Now that his parents are free and able to participate in the new docuseries, Chase teases that the show will take on a whole new tone, adding that his father came out \u201cguns blazing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<\/blockquote>\n
