SPOILER ALERT \u2013 Do not read ahead if you haven\u2019t watched the new season of The Bear!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Abby Elliott<\/strong><\/a> is dishing on season four of The Bear<\/strong><\/a><\/em>!<\/p>\n The new season of the Emmy-winning series was just released on Hulu and FX a few weeks ago and now in a new interview, the 38-year-old actress, Natalie \u201cSugar\u201d Berzatto, has revealed that a Vanderpump Rules<\/strong><\/a><\/em> star was considered for a guest role.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>In season four, Brie Larson<\/strong><\/a> made her debut as Francie Fak<\/a>, a friend from Natalie\u2019s past that she had a falling out with.<\/p>\n When the character of Francie was first introduced in season three, Abby <\/strong>revealed Stassi Schroeder<\/strong><\/a> was initially considered to play her.<\/p>\n \u201c[The Bear <\/em>creator] Chris Storer and I have been having conversations about this since season 2, when the concept of Francie first gets introduced. We were like, \u2018Who is she?\u2019\u201d Abby<\/strong> recalled to Elle<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe talked about Stassi from Vanderpump Rules<\/em>. And we were like, \u2018I think she\u2019s kind of like Stassi,\u2019\u201d she continued. \u201cThen, I think it was between seasons 2 and 3, I was at the L.A. Natural History Museum, and I saw Stassi. I was like, \u2018Oh my God.\u2019 I was so embarrassed because my kid was having a tantrum and her kid was so well-behaved, and [Chris] was like, \u2018This is perfect. This is so Natalie and Francie.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Ultimately, Stassi<\/strong>, 37, didn\u2019t join the show and Brie<\/strong>, 35, ended up playing Francie.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen Brie stepped in, it made it all the more perfect. We really hit it off,\u201d Abby<\/strong> shared. \u201cI think we\u2019re pretty similar, and she\u2019s so funny. I love her. We were simpatico from the start, which was so much fun to play. And even though we do, sort of, find out [the source of Natalie and Francie\u2019s feud], it\u2019s still a little unclear!\u201d<\/p>\n Season 3 built up a reunion for Natalie and Francie after their falling out, and when they finally came face to face in the new season, it still remains unclear what actually led to their falling out. However, the two did hint at a romantic past before acknowledging that they missed each other and decided to resume their friendship.<\/p>\n \u201cAnother thing that Chris and I talked about: I was watching a reality show with all these women at this wedding in those Hill House nap dresses,\u201d Abby<\/strong> explained. \u201cAnd I was like, \u2018It\u2019d be so funny if [Francie and Natalie] are going at each other in these Little-Bo-Peep pastel dresses.\u2019 So we tried to do that with the wardrobe in episode 7. She\u2019s wearing a headband and I\u2019m wearing a headband.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cEverything\u2019s very cute, and then we\u2019re going into this dark drunken backstory. It was my favorite thing to shoot. That episode felt so much like My Best Friend\u2019s Wedding and The Wedding Singer and all of those kind of \u201990s\/2000s movies that you watch and you\u2019re like, \u2018Oh, I wish I was at that wedding.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThere was a scene in My Best Friend\u2019s Wedding<\/em>, which takes place in Chicago, and [Julia Roberts<\/strong><\/a> and Cameron Diaz<\/strong><\/a>] are in the bathroom at Wrigley Field,\u201d Abby<\/strong> noted. \u201cCameron\u2019s wearing a little headband and she\u2019s in pastel, and she goes off on Julia\u2019s character. I kept watching that scene before [filming the episode] to really get me into it. So much goes down at weddings. It\u2019s such a perfect backdrop for drama and comedy.\u201d
