The 29 year old is believed to have collided with a car while riding an all-terrain vehicle on a road close to Caitlyn’s property in Malibu, California on Wednesday (02.07.25) and TMZ.com reports the crash sent Sophia’s ATV plummeting into a ravine.<\/p>\n
The website reports emergency services were called, but Sophia was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else is believed to have been injured in the accident.<\/p>\n
It is not known whether Caitlyn was at home at the time of the accident and she has yet to publicly comment on the tragedy.<\/p>\n
Sophia took over managing Caitlyn’s career in 2017 following the reality star’s divorce from Kris Jenner. She appeared in her reality show I am Cait and even lived with the star at her Malibu home.<\/p>\n
\nShe explained the career move in an interview with the New York Times in 2019, insisting she just wanted to protect her friend at a vulnerable time in her life. Sophia told the publication: “I saw nobody was managing her, and there were all these people taking massive advantage.<\/p>\n
\n“And I was saying: ‘Caitlyn, if I don\u2019t step in here and start managing you, you\u2019re going to go broke’.”<\/p>\n
\nShe added of their relationship: “Caitlyn is a parent to me. I have said that a million times. It is a parental, familial relationship.”<\/p>\n
\nThe pair became so close, they were forced to deny rumours they were romantically involved.<\/p>\n
\nSophia previous addressed the speculation in a post on social media, writing: “Love the whole LGBT community but so tired of rumors that I am romantically with Caitlyn.<\/p>\n
\n“I am only ever with men and only ever have been. Stop the rumors! It’s been years.”<\/p>\n
\nSophia is believed to have maintained a good relationship with Caitlyn’s ex-wife Kris and daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, while she also appeared in a campaign for SKIMS – the clothing brand run by Caitlyn’s stepdaughter Kim Kardashian.<\/p>\n
\nSophia’s final public appearance with Caitlyn is believed to have been at the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington, D.C. in April 2024.<\/p>\n
