The 34-year-old star has revealed that she prefers to dip her hair into the ocean water rather washing it with shampoo and conditioner.<\/p>\n
Emma told Popsugar: “I try not to wash my hair on vacation. <\/p>\n
“I put my hair into braids and jump in the ocean. That’s what I do instead of shampoo and conditioner.”<\/p>\n
The actress doesn’t like the idea of mixing hotel products with her dyed hair.<\/p>\n
\nShe explained: “I’ve washed my hair when I’ve just dyed it and it’s turned a crazy colour.<\/p>\n
\n“When I have blonde hair it’s turned yellow, and when I’ve had red hair it washes it all out. So I get so scared to really give my hair a real wash.”<\/p>\n
\nEmma has actually gone as long as five days without washing her hair while she’s been on holiday.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “I try to get a blowout the day before I leave for vacation, and then I will ride that blowout into the dry-shampoo end.”<\/p>\n
\nEmma thinks the public actually has the wrong impression of her.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress explained: “I don’t need as many glamorous things as I think people think.”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, Emma previously revealed that she loved working with Kim Kardashian on American Horror Story.<\/p>\n
\nThe 44-year-old beauty joined the cast of the anthology horror series for season 12 of the show, and Emma relished the experience of working with her showbiz pal.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking on the Table for Two podcast, Emma shared: “She is one of the most prepared actors I\u2019ve worked with.<\/p>\n
\n“I mean, I\u2019ve come to work sometimes and people – that I won\u2019t name, but you know who – they don\u2019t know their lines at all, which, whatever, it\u2019s fine, we all have those days. But she knew every single line.”<\/p>\n
\nEmma noted that Kim displayed an impressive level of self-confidence on set, despite having no significant acting experience.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress observed that Kim was “super professional” and “confident”.<\/p>\n
\nEmma said: “She also will just look you in the eye and do it. <\/p>\n
\n“To be that open and vulnerable – and I get embarrassed sometimes and I\u2019ve been acting for 20 years – she\u2019s super professional, confident.”<\/p>\n
