{"id":178624,"date":"2025-07-03T18:30:08","date_gmt":"2025-07-03T18:30:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2025\/07\/03\/michael-madsen-dead-at-67\/"},"modified":"2025-07-03T18:30:08","modified_gmt":"2025-07-03T18:30:08","slug":"michael-madsen-dead-at-67","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2025\/07\/03\/michael-madsen-dead-at-67\/","title":{"rendered":"Michael Madsen dead at 67"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"byline\">\n<p>        <time itemprop=\"datePublished\" content=\"2025-07-03\" datetime=\"1751567408\" pubdate=\"\">3 July 2025<\/time>\n    <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/michael-madsen\/\" class=\"exposure-link \" data-linktrack=\"LinkTracker,articleExposure,michael-madsen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Michael Madsen<\/a> has died.<\/p>\n<p>                            <\/p>\n<p class=\"image-caption landscape\">Michael Madsen dead at 67<\/p>\n<p>The 67-year-old actor \u2013 who was best known for his work in Kill Bill and Reservoir Dogs \u2013 has passed away after being found unresponsive at his Malibu, California home on Thursday (03.07.25).<\/p>\n<p>Deputies responded to his home after a 911 call early in the morning and he was pronounced dead at the scene, with Michael\u2019s manager Ron Smith claiming to Dailymail.com that he died from a \u201ccardiac arrest\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>A statement from his representatives said: \u201cIn the last two years <a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/michael-madsen\/\" class=\"exposure-link \" data-linktrack=\"LinkTracker,articleExposure,michael-madsen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Michael Madsen<\/a> has been doing some incredible work with independent film including upcoming feature films Resurrection Road, Concessions and Cookbook for Southern Housewives, and was really looking forward to this next chapter in his life.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Madsen was also preparing to release a new book called Tears For My Father: Outlaw Thoughts and Poems.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cMichael Madsen was one of Hollywood\u2019s most iconic actors, who will be missed by many.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nMichael suffered heartbreak in 2022 when his son Hudson took his own life at the age of 26.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe star is survived by his five other children, Jessica who he shared with Dana Mechling, Christian and Max, whose mother is Jeannine Bisignano and Luke and Kalvin, whose mom is Madsen\u2019s wife DeAnna Morgan.<\/p>\n<p>\nMadsen was married to Georganne LaPiere, half-sister of Cher from 1984 to 1988.<\/p>\n<p>\nHe went on to marry Bisignano from 1991 to 1995 before tying the knot with DeAnna in 1996 and welcoming Luke, Kalvin and Hudson together.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe relationship had its ups and downs, and his death comes just 11 months after his domestic violence case &#8211; where he was accused of shoving DeAnna &#8211; was dismissed due to \u201cinsufficient evidence\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\nMadsen was best known for his work with director Quentin Tarantino, including classics such as 1992\u2019s in Reservoir Dogs, 2004\u2019s Kill Bill: Volume 2, 2015\u2019s The Hateful Eight, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which was released in 2019.<\/p>\n<p><!-- Pagination --><\/p>\n<p><!-- playbuzz --><br \/>\n<!-- end playbuzz--><\/p>\n<p><!-- \n\n<div data-cn-project=\"femalefirst\">\n    \n<\/div>\n\n --><\/p>\n<p><!-- Outbrain { date: 2018\/06\/08 } --><br \/>\n<!-- Outbrain { date: 2018\/06\/08 } --><\/p>\n<p>    <!-- Outbrain { date: 2018\/06\/08 } --><br \/>\n    <!-- Outbrain { date: 2018\/06\/08 } --><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/celebrity\/michael-madsen-dead-67-1421431.html?f=rss\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>3 July 2025 Michael Madsen has died.
