The 40-year-old singer was performing at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Australia when her prop metal ball suddenly malfunctioned.<\/p>\n<p>This large metal device, which flies above the audience with Katy inside, <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2025\/music\/news\/katy-perry-prop-malfunction-australia-lifetimes-concert-1236445132\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tilted forward unexpectedly<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Katy was hanging on in an effort not to fall out. The 43-year-old was performing \u201c16 Carriages\u201d at Houston\u2019s NRG Stadium on Saturday when she sat on a red convertible prop.
