Festive throwback! The 1990s brought Us Beanie Babies, AOL Instant Messenger, Crystal Pepsi, Clueless<\/em> \u2014 and some of the catchiest holiday songs ever.<\/p>\n From Mariah Carey<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s \u201cAll I Want for Christmas\u201d to Adam Sandler<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s \u201cThe Hanukkah Song,\u201d the \u201890s were jam-packed with holiday tunes that remain favorites more than three decades later.<\/p>\n Boy bands<\/a>, including the Backstreet Boys<\/a>, 98 Degrees, Hanson and Boyz II Men released festive songs for the season that still hold up. Boyz II Men teamed up with Brian McKnight<\/strong><\/a> for 1993\u2019s \u201cLet It Snow\u201d and in December 2020 they reunited to perform the track during a joint TV appearance.<\/p>\n \u2018NSync, for their part, dropped the Home for Christmas<\/em> album in 1998. The record has endured as a holiday classic despite the band \u2014 Justin Timberlake<\/strong><\/a>, JC Chasez<\/strong><\/a>, Lance Bass<\/strong><\/a>, Chris Kirkpatrick<\/strong><\/a> and Joey Fatone<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 going their separate ways in 2002.<\/p>\n \u201cI mean, I don\u2019t put on the album, but if it\u2019s on a station that I choose, I have fun with it,\u201d Chasez exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> in December 2017. \u201cThey are fun memories for me. I don\u2019t know how to equate it other than saying it\u2019s a college memory.\u201d<\/p>\n TLC\u2019s holiday single, \u201cSleigh Ride,\u201d was featured on the Home Alone 2: Lost in New York<\/em><\/a> soundtrack in 1992, which starred Macaulay Culkin<\/strong><\/a> as Kevin McCallister two years after the original film was released.<\/p>\n Sandler\u2019s catchy song about Hanukkah<\/a>, which originally premiered on Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/a> in 1994, has been added to over the years, totaling four versions.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s a long time for one song,\u201d the comedian told Ellen DeGeneres<\/strong><\/a> in December 2019<\/a>, on the song\u2019s 25th anniversary. \u201cIf there are any other Jewish people out there who want to write a new one, that\u2019d be great.
