Henson<\/strong><\/a> is already a Tony Award nominee and now she\u2019s finally set to make her Broadway debut as an actress!<\/p>\n The Oscar-nominated star will lead the upcoming Broadway revival of the classic August Wilson<\/strong> play Joe Turner\u2019s Come and Gone<\/em><\/strong> alongside Cedric the Entertainer<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n Taraji <\/strong>previously produced the play Jaja\u2019s African Hair Braiding<\/em> and she received a Tony nomination as a producer for Best Play. This will mark her first time acting on a Broadway stage.<\/p>\n Cedric <\/strong>returns to Broadway after previously starring in American Buffalo<\/em> in 2008. <\/p>\n Debbie Allen<\/strong><\/a> will direct the new production of Joe Turner\u2019s Come and Gone<\/em>, which will open in Spring 2026 at a Shubert Theatre to-be-announced.
