\t\t<\/p>\n Charlize Theron<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about her upcoming movie The Odyssey<\/strong><\/a><\/em>!<\/p>\n The 49-year-old actress is among a star-studded cast<\/a> for the Christopher Nolan<\/strong><\/a>-directed film adaptation of the classic poem by Homer. <\/p>\n While the movie is set to hit theaters in July 2026, Charlize<\/strong> has yet to film any scenes!<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n At her Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project Block Party<\/a><\/em> over the weekend, she was asked what it was like walking on the set. <\/p>\n \u201cI haven\u2019t,\u201d she told<\/a> Variety<\/em>\u2018s Marc Malkin<\/strong>. \u201cI leave in a couple of weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n Marc<\/strong> then asked how she prepares to play the goddess of sorcery, aka Circe, confirming the character she is set to portray. <\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know. I\u2019m just going to talk to Chris<\/strong> about it and we\u2019ll see where it goes,\u201d she dished. \u201cIt\u2019s super intimidating. I\u2019m like the last one to show up. So, I\u2019ll be like the new kid on the block, and everybody will know what they\u2019re doing and not me.\u201d<\/p>\n If you don\u2019t know, Circe is a primary antagonist to Odysseus and even traps him and his men on her island, transforming his men into animals.<\/p>\n Filming on the upcoming project began back in February, with a first look photo<\/a> of Matt Damon<\/strong><\/a> in character as Odysseus revealed.<\/p>\n Tom Holland<\/strong><\/a> has also been spotted on the set in Greece<\/a>, filming with Matt<\/strong>, while his girlfriend Zendaya<\/strong><\/a> also filmed back in March. She actually caught a flight to Italy right after a night shoot on the upcoming third season of Euphoria<\/strong><\/a><\/em>!<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
