Joshua Jackson<\/strong><\/a> is a Mighty Duck again \u2014 or, at least, he was for a night.<\/p>\n

Jackson was joined by his Mighty Ducks<\/em> costar Marguerite Moreau<\/strong> as the pair announced the Anaheim Ducks\u2019 first-round picks in the 2025 NHL Draft on Friday, June 27. Jackson donned an orange jersey with the Ducks logo on the front and the last name \u201cConway\u201d on the back \u2013 a nod to his character, Charlie Conway, who he played in the first three Mighty Ducks<\/em> films.<\/p>\n

Jackson and Moreau announced center Roger McQueen<\/strong> as the Anaheim Ducks\u2019 first draft pick (McQueen was the 10th overall pick of the night).<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a while since I wore 96, so it\u2019s nice to have back on,\u201d he said on NHL Tonight<\/a> ahead of the moment.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe original Mighty Ducks film quacked its way into movie lover\u2019s hearts in 1992 and nearly three decades later, it still has a dedicated fanbase. The Mighty Ducks, which starred Emilio Estevez as Coach Gordon Bombay, made hockey cool nationwide \u2014 and inspired some fans to quack in class when they didn\u2019t get their way. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think really any of us knew what we were doing and couldn\u2019t possibly have even dreamed that this would be a possibility all these years later,\u201d he added of the reunion after making the Mighty Ducks<\/em> movies. Jackson and Moreau starred in the original 1992 film as well as 1994\u2019s D2: The Mighty Ducks<\/em> and 1996\u2019s D3: The Mighty Ducks<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The movies also starred Emilio Estevez<\/strong> as Coach Bombay, a man who is assigned to lead a youth hockey team as part of his community service following a DUI.<\/p>\n

During a March 11 appearance<\/a> on The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/em>, Jackson shared a life lesson he learned from Estevez after behaving like a \u201clittle d***\u201d on set.<\/p>\n

\u201cI, kind of, learned how to be on set from Emilio, because I didn\u2019t know any of this stuff,\u201d Jackson explained. \u201cI was just a child.\u201d<\/p>\n

The exchange with Estevez happened while the pair were filming the second installment in the film franchise.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had this whole sequence [when] we were actually at the pond, the professional rink. There was about to be a professional team,\u201d Jackson said. \u201cOne day we had 20,000 people. Literally, they filled the arena for us to play hockey.\u201d<\/p>\n
