Sami Sheen<\/a><\/span><\/strong> is ready to feel better again after discovering she may have breast implant illness.\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI was just having the worst stomach issues, and that\u2019s when I started getting different allergies to different things like certain foods or drinks,\u201d Sheen, 21, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/i> on Wednesday, June 25, when describing her symptoms. \u201cI was like, \u2018What is going on?\u2019 Then, over the years, I\u2019ve just gotten so exhausted every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sheen \u2014 who received her breast implants in 2023 \u2014 said she has experienced health issues for two years.<\/p>\n

Now, she believes her body was \u201crejecting [the implant] the whole time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt just kind of got to a point where I was like, \u2018OK, I\u2019m so tired of feeling like this. I want an answer,\u201d Sheen explained. \u201cIt literally just hit me where I was like, \u2018OK, it\u2019s my implants.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlie Sheen<\/strong> and Denise Richards<\/strong>\u2019 oldest daughter said she has done a lot of research to figure out what was going on with her body.<\/p>\n

According to the Cleveland Clinic<\/span><\/a>, researchers are just starting to study breast implant illness. As a result, it isn\u2019t recognized as an official medical diagnosis just yet.<\/p>\n

While meeting with professional doctors, the Denise Richards and Her Wild Things<\/i> star said she was faced with some doubt about her situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve even talked to some surgeons, and they\u2019ve told me that breast implant illness is not a real thing, and there\u2019s no way I\u2019m sick from them and just completely invalidating everything I\u2019ve been feeling,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s kind of frustrating. \u2026 But the only way of really figuring it out is by getting them removed. There is no real diagnosis, which kind of sucks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sami has decided to share her journey on social media in hopes of raising awareness. She also hopes other women feel less alone if they are dealing with discomfort after getting breast implants.<\/p>\n
