Savannah Chrisley<\/strong><\/a> recalled her parents, Todd<\/strong> and Julie Chrisley<\/strong>, hitting an \u201call-time low\u201d before they were granted a presidential pardon from Donald Trump<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had just reached a point of, like, I\u2019ve done everything I can do. At this point, there\u2019s nothing more I can do,\u201d Savannah, 27, explained on My View with Lara Trump<\/em> on Saturday, June 28.<\/p>\n

Todd, 56, and Julie, 52 received a pardon from President Trump in May following their 2022 conviction on 12 counts of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud and conspiracy. Todd was sentenced to 12 years behind bars while Julie was given seven years. (Both Chrisleys have always maintained their innocence.)<\/p>\n

In the family\u2019s latest interview, Savannah insisted that the Chrisleys knew the \u201conly way out\u201d for her parents was Trump winning last November\u2019s presidential election.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTodd Chrisley broke his silence in a press conference after being pardoned and released from prison, but his wife, Julie Chrisley, didn\u2019t join him. Speaking out for the first time on Friday, May 30, Todd, 55, was accompanied by his daughter Savannah Chrisley in Nashville. He revealed to reporters that Julie, 52, was home with [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cOn a personal level, we watched the election together, and [my brother Grayson, 19] got to vote in the election for the first time,\u201d Savannah explained. \u201cAnd when we were watching it and saw the president win, we both started sobbing and he just grabbed me and hugged me because we knew that was our only way out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Todd then chimed in, \u201cWe owe thanks to God \u2026 and God touched President Trump\u2019s heart. God led the people to advocate for us. And so I\u2019m grateful because every night I would pray that God would return me home to my wife and my children. And he did that, so I\u2019m grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Chrisleys revealed that Todd briefly got to personally thank President Trump via FaceTime once he was freed from prison.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I told him,] \u2018Thank you, you reunited me with my family,\u2019\u201d Todd confirmed.<\/p>\n

Julie walked host Lara Trump<\/strong> \u2013 who is married to President Trump\u2019s son, Eric Trump<\/strong> \u2013 through the moment she learned she was being pardoned<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI call my Savannah one more time and she said, \u2018He did it! He signed it!\u2019 And I just started busting out crying,\u201d Julie reflected. \u201cAnd then I just hung up. I was so nervous I just hung up. It was the craziest thing because unfortunately, most of the news that you get in prison is bad news. So they\u2019re like, \u2018Are you OK?\u2019 And I\u2019m like, \u2018I am! I think I\u2019m getting out of here!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Todd confessed that he didn\u2019t actually believe it when a fellow inmate told him that he was being granted clemency by the president.<\/p>\n

Savannah, 27, detailed her \u201croller-coaster of emotions\u201d over the last week during the Tuesday, June 3, episode of PodcastOne\u2019s \u201cUnlocked\u201d podcast, addressing Todd and Julie\u2019s presidential pardons following their 2022 [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Chrisley Knows Best<\/em> star said, \u201cI went into my dorm and one of the CO\u2019s came in and he goes, \u2018You good?\u2019 And I said, \u2018As good as I can be!\u2019 And he said, \u2018Todd you just got pardoned. They sent me down here to see if you were OK.\u2019 And I said, \u2018Well, hell, if I\u2019m pardoned they don\u2019t have to be worried about me. I\u2019m great!\u2019<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the interview, Todd admitted he was very aware that his and Julie\u2019s post-prison experience was nothing like what most inmates go through<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe stepped out of prison,\u201d Todd said. \u201cWe walked into a home, started filming immediately, and new cars were ordered, and we\u2019re looking for houses, and we\u2019re doing all the things that we need to be doing.\u201d<\/p>\n
