Jana Kramer<\/strong><\/a> and Jessie James Decker<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s new duet, \u201cDo It in Heels,\u201d is all about the power of women and moms who do it all.<\/p>\n

Kramer, 41, pulled from her real-life dating experience for inspiration behind the lyrics.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wrote the song when I was single mom-ing it [and] I was single at the time,\u201d she exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> of the new track, which features Decker, 37, noting she was looking to write a \u201cgirl anthem, but not cheesy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kramer recalled, \u201cI actually went out to Los Angeles, had a really bad date. The next day I wrote this song. I was like, \u2018I don\u2019t even wanna be sad about the bad date that I just had.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The One Tree Hill alum, 40, released her latest single, \u201cWarrior,\u201d on Friday, September 13. \u201cYou give your best to me \/ I want your worst \/ There ain\u2019t [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The One Tree Hill<\/em><\/a> alum, who is now married to Allan Russell<\/strong>, remembered feeling like she knew everything would come together when the timing was right.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had always known I\u2019d be where I\u2019m at right now,\u201d she said. \u201cI had hoped to be where I\u2019m at today, but then I\u2019ll always have a pull for the single mamas out there doing it [for] the ladies. Knowing that we have so much on our plates that are spinning and we do it with a lot of grace and class.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kramer split from her ex-husband Mike Caussin<\/strong>, with whom she shares daughter Jolie, 9, and son Jayce, 6<\/a>, in April 2021.<\/p>\n

While writing the song, Kramer instantly thought of teaming up with longtime friend Decker<\/a>, who is a mother of four. (She shares kids<\/a> Vivianne, 11, Eric Jr., 9, Forrest, 7, and Denver, 16 months, with husband Eric Decker<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

\u201cWho better to bring [than] Jessie? Who does it so well too,\u201d Kramer gushed. \u201cShe\u2019s a prime example of a woman that is the ultimate girl\u2019s girl and mom who does it all.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the song, which is now available to stream<\/a>, Kramer and Decker croon about women doing everything men can do \u2014 but in style.<\/p>\n

\u201cHoney, let\u2019s be real, you couldn\u2019t walk a day in these Jimmy Choos,\u201d Kramer belts out in one of the verses.<\/p>\n

The chorus, meanwhile, reminds fans that women \u201cain\u2019t even tripping at all \/ babies, him and business standing tall and we do it in heels.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJana Kramer\u2019s relationship with soccer coach Allan Russell started out slow, but the pair\u2019s connection was hard to deny for long. \u201cI don\u2019t know if this is my forever person. \u2026 But, like, I\u2019m not going to push away love just because I\u2019ve been hurt before. I\u2019m going to embrace it,\u201d the One Tree Hill [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

And while Kramer was a single mom when she wrote the song, she was pregnant with baby No. 3 when she pitched the concept to Decker.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were both pregnant at the time,\u201d Kramer told Us<\/em>. \u201cAnd so it was like, \u2018All right, we gotta do this.\u2019 She agreed and then we\u2019re like, \u2018All right, we gotta have our babies and then we\u2019ll do it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Kramer welcomed her and Russell\u2019s son, Roman<\/a>, in November 2023. The couple tied the knot in January 2024<\/a> before having a formal wedding in Scotland that July.<\/p>\n

Decker, meanwhile, welcomed son Denver<\/a> with husband Eric, 38, in February 2024.<\/p>\n

Pregnancy bond and friendship aside, the Kittenish founder exclusively told Us<\/em> that she \u201cloved\u201d the song \u201cinstantly\u201d and felt like it resonated with multitasking women everywhere.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love that Jana wanted this to be a duet with another woman because, for me, it brings in that girl camaraderie even more so. We\u2019re in this together, this is it,\u201d Decker shared, noting that she experienced womanhood at its finest after she had her youngest child. \u201cAs soon as I had my last baby, I was blown away by the amount of different moms from the school bringing in meals and bringing candles and they had a chain. I\u2019d never experienced anything like that.\u201d<\/p>\n
