\t\t<\/p>\n Keke Palmer<\/strong><\/a> is explaining why she chose not to release her interview with Jonathan Majors<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The 31-year-old actress made an appearance on Power 105.1 FM\u2019s The Breakfast Club<\/em> on June 20 where she addressed the decision to scrap the podcast episode with the 35-year-old actor. <\/p>\n Following Jonathan<\/strong>\u2018s 2023 assault trial<\/a>, Keke<\/strong> teased sitting down with him for an interview on her podcast. The episode was recorded but was ultimately pulled before it was released to all listeners. Now, Keke<\/strong> is explaining why.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Keke<\/strong> said on the radio show that she wants to be \u201cunbiased\u201d as a podcast host and that\u2019s why she was open to interviewing Jonathan<\/strong> despite his conviction. <\/p>\n She said in the interview, \u201cYou don\u2019t agree with everything they did, you don\u2019t love everything, but you got to have the conversation. You have to set the stage for them to speak and for people to watch and take what they want to take from it, so that\u2019s why I was open and excited to do the interview.\u201d<\/p>\n She went on to explain that her team decided to pull the interview and not release it because of the reaction it was garnering from fans. She said, \u201cPeople felt it was insensitive. I always want to be respectful and understand where everybody\u2019s coming from. If they\u2019re not going to feel like they\u2019re going to receive anything good from the interview, then okay, cool.\u201d <\/p>\n According to Keke<\/strong>, she\u2019s still interested in potentially releasing the episode someday to let the public hear what Jonathan<\/strong> had to say.
