\u201cI served my time. That was my accountability and I\u2019ve carried it for years. I don\u2019t owe the past anything more,\u201d she acknowledged.<\/p>\n
Blanchard continued: \u201cAs for Nicholas Godejohn, Yes, he is a deeply disturbed man. But he also knew the difference between right and wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u2018The key difference is intent\u2019<\/h2>\n \u201cRegardless of my role of unintentional manipulation, this type of manipulation isn\u2019t rooted in malice,\u201d Gypsy-Rose Blanchard emphasized.<\/p>\n
She explained: \u201cIt\u2019s often a reflection of past trauma, fear of abandonment, or a lack of emotional tools. The key difference is intent.\u201d<\/p>\n
Blanchard wrote: \u201cNicholas made the decision to move forward with that night. On a more positive note, Blanchard waxed optimistic: <\/p>\n
\u201cThis next chapter is one of healing. Of growth. Of reclaiming my life. This is freedom. And I\u2019m moving forward with clarity, peace, and self-forgiveness. The Justice system has decided. She has many supporters. A lot of people feel that her mother\u2019s murder was, at worst, a tragic necessity after essentially all of society failed to rescue Blanchard. <\/p>\n
Folks, people who have recently been in prison and on parole are very unlikely to echo those sentiments. Whether her true feelings match her words, it is wise for her to say these things.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
