Dynamic duo! Hosts Dolly Parton<\/strong><\/a> and Garth Brooks<\/strong><\/a> brought the laughs \u2014 and made the crowd blush \u2014 during their 2023 ACM Awards<\/a> opening monologue.<\/p>\n Brooks, 61, kicked off the awards show on Thursday, May 11, in Frisco, Texas, by paying homage to some of the greatest country music stars of all time, or the G.O.A.T.s of the industry<\/a>.<\/p>\n He called George Strait<\/strong> \u201cyour hero and my hero\u201d and highlighted the musical contributions of Johnny Cash<\/a>, George Jones<\/a> and Randy Travis<\/strong><\/a> before pointing out that the \u201cking of country music\u201d might actually be a female based on longevity and superstar status.<\/p>\n \u201cThat female is in the house tonight! Dolly Parton,\u201d the \u201cThat Summer\u201d crooner yelled as his cohost hilariously walked out on stage with a literal goat in a wagon.<\/p>\n The \u201cTwo Doors Down\u201d songstress quipped: \u201cDid I hear you say you were looking for a goat?\u201d She then made an animal pun, saying, \u201cI think someone needs to come take her baaack! That was such a baaad joke.\u201d<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Parton\u2019s jokes quickly turned more sexual when the \u201cLove Is Like a Butterfly\u201d singer claimed that before Brooks became a star, \u201cPeople were saying little old me were two of the biggest stars in country music.\u201d She gestured to her chest, adding, \u201cI\u2019m milking it.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cWildflowers\u201d musician continued to put her cohost on the hot seat<\/a>, telling the audience, \u201cI saw you online telling all those nice people out there that I\u2019m your hall pass. And that I\u2019m Trisha [Yearwood]\u2019s hall pass too!\u201d<\/p>\n Parton then had a realization, joking that Brooks use of the \u201cGOAT\u201d actually stood for, \u201cGarth Organize A Threesome!\u201d<\/p>\n A speechless Brooks eventually took over the microphone, telling the Run Rose Run<\/em> coauthor: \u201cI thought I couldn\u2019t love you anymore! Are you ready for our big night?\u201d the \u201cJolene\u201d songstress asked Brooks, to which he replied, \u201cYeah, I\u2019m a little nervous to be honest.\u201d<\/p>\n While the \u201cDance\u201d crooner<\/a> admitted it was his \u201cfirst time,\u201d Parton teased that she had been around the block a time or two.
