Todd Chrisley<\/strong><\/a> and his family are not done with fighting for prison reform just because he and wife Julie Chrisley<\/strong><\/a> were pardoned.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe stepped out of prison,\u201d Todd, 56, says in Us Weekly<\/em>\u2019s exclusive preview of the Chrisley family\u2019s upcoming Fox News interview<\/a> with Lara Trump<\/strong>. \u201cWe walked into a home, started filming immediately, and new cars were ordered, and we\u2019re looking for houses, and we\u2019re doing all the things that we need to be doing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Todd continued: \u201cBut all of these men and women don\u2019t get to do that. When they come out, they don\u2019t have a home to go to. They don\u2019t have money to go buy food.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the clip, Todd is joined by his wife and two of their children: Savannah, 27, and Grayson, 19. (The couple also share the son Chase and granddaughter Chloe, whom they legally adopted. Todd is also the father of Lindsie and Kyle \u2014 who is Chloe\u2019s biological father \u2014 whom he welcomed with ex-wife Teresa Terry<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

Julie, for her part, echos similar sentiments to her husband\u2019s perspective.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey don\u2019t have support,\u201d Julie, 52, says, referring to others who remain behind bars.<\/p>\n

Todd then tells Trump, 42, that the percentage of incarcerated individuals in the United States is higher \u201cthan anywhere else in the world\u201d yet the United States has \u201cthe highest recidivism rate.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat should tell you that what we\u2019re doing is not working,\u201d he says. \u201cThere is no accountability for the $8.2 billion that\u2019s dumped into the Bureau of Prisons every year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Todd then shares a message for people he got to know while serving his sentence.<\/p>\n

\u201cAccountability is coming. So, for all of my brothers that I left behind, I didn\u2019t leave you behind,\u201d he says. \u201cI\u2019m coming for you. It\u2019s just taking me a little bit longer to get to you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last month, Todd and Julie received a pardon from President Donald Trump after the couple was convicted of 12 counts of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud and conspiracy in 2022. While they maintained their innocence, Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison while Julie received seven years.<\/p>\n
