Whitney Port<\/a>‘s husband wants their journey to having another child to “be over”.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Whitney Port has been open about her fertility struggles<\/p>\n
The 40-year-old designer recently admitted she had suffered five miscarriages since giving birth to her and Tim Rosenman’s seven-year-old son Sonny and the pair have suggested they are close to giving up on their dream of having a baby now they are getting “older and older”.<\/p>\n
Tim was a guest on his wife’s podcast, With Whit, and he said: “I want it to be over. That’s on my mind, really. I just want it to work out and it to be over, or it to not work out and just to stop thinking about it.<\/p>\n
Whitney replied: \u201cI\u2019m completely with you. But you still want to keep moving forward?\u201d<\/p>\n
Tim then admitted: \u201cBut I\u2019m telling you is [as] it gets longer and longer, my desire to move forward gets less and less.<\/p>\n
\n“Because I\u2019m getting older and older, and like I\u2019m so old.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWhitney said: \u201cYou\u2019re not, but you just start to…”<\/p>\n
\nTim turns 44in September and admitted all he wants for his birthday is a baby.<\/p>\n
\nWhitney laughed: \u201cWith my own DNA.”<\/p>\n
\nHer spouse agreed: With my DNA and Whitney\u2019s DNA, okay? Carry it in your uterus and deliver it to my house.”<\/p>\n
\nThe former reality star then admitted the subject has been on her mind because she is unsure what she and Tim should do next.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI know, that\u2019s really what\u2019s on my mind too.<\/p>\n
\n“I mean, I have a million things on my mind, but I would say that’s the most nagging thing that’s on my mind because it’s the thing that I feel like I don’t know what to do about.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe’re just at this point right now where we’ve been forwarded all these profiles.”<\/p>\n
\nTim said: \u201cI don’t need 10 profiles. Just make one work!<\/p>\n
\n“After this, let’s just say move forward with the last one.” <\/p>\n
\nIn April, Whitney detailed her fertility struggles, and told how despite her five miscarriages, a fertility specialist found no complications so she and Tim <\/p>\n
\nwent through a round of IVF (in vitro fertilisation) treatment and had two boy and two girl embryos which her medical team recommended she use, with the males having stronger grades.<\/p>\n
\nBut the Hills star suffered a “mental breakdown” when she fell ill and couldn’t go through with the embryo transfer.<\/p>\n
\nShe told SHE MD: “The week before I did a transfer, I got extremely sick, throwing up so much that I ended up having to have an endoscopy, and it was just a whole situation.<\/p>\n
\n“I ended up not being able to do the transfer and basically had, like a mental breakdown.”<\/p>\n
\nWhitney and Tim then decided to use a surrogate but she also tragically miscarried twice.<\/p>\n
\nThe couple stepped away from the process for a year to figure out what to do next, and have been looking for a new surrogate.<\/p>\n
