She tried for years to push through the pain, but this time it was too much,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Ethan added that in recent months, the \u201crude words, accusations and name-calling came from some of those she considered close friends\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think all of this stems from jealousy and envy,\u201d he noted, adding:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"An unimaginable loss for the rescue\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8qlJir9a1zk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>\u201cShe couldn\u2019t bear what she was feeling any longer and she ended her life. It breaks my heart that someone who is selfless and devoted her life to animals could have so much negativity pointed at her.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-grieving-husband-shares-harrowing-account-of-mikayla-s-death\">Grieving husband shares harrowing account of Mikayla\u2019s death<\/h2>\n<p>Later in the video, Ethan went into detail about the horror of discovering his wife\u2019s body.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd to those of you that pushed her to this, every one of you that had been responsible for making her feel this way, I wish you had to see me find her and I wish you had to watch me perform CPR on her for 15 minutes until the first responders arrived,\u201d Ethan continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I wish you had to watch helplessly as paramedics attempted to revive her lifeless body.
