Tom Schwartz<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about the end of Vanderpump Rules<\/strong><\/a><\/em> with the original cast, and the start of a new version with a cast reboot. <\/p>\n The 42-year-old reality star spent the last 12 years on the Bravo<\/strong><\/a> show, but it will continue with a whole new group of SUR employees<\/a>, going back to its roots. <\/p>\n In a new interview, Tom<\/strong> dished on his friend group\u2019s run on the show coming to an end and even shared his excitement for the new cast. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI remember when I first found out [we weren’t continuing], it felt like a little bit of a rug pull the day of, and then like days later, I was like, \u2018That was the right decision,\u2019\u201d Tom <\/strong>told Us Weekly<\/a><\/em>. \u201cEven though it pained me to say that \u2019cause that was like my whole life, the bar and the show. Just everything revolved around that, and all of a sudden it was over. It felt a little abrupt, but as I get further and further away, I\u2019m like, yeah it was time.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cI think we could still could have made a few great seasons of Vanderpump Rules<\/em>,\u201d he added. \u201cWe had gas in the tank, but I think it might have been a little forced \u2019cause too many people were checked out of their friendships with other people, and it might have been like pulling teeth. But yeah, I miss it. I like the schedule\u2026 I miss cast trips. That\u2019s like the best part. Oh my god, I just want to go on a cast trip, please! Maybe we can do like a family vacation, Jersey Shore<\/em> style reunion of Vanderpump Rules<\/em> someday.\u201d<\/p>\n Of the new cast, Tom<\/strong> said, \u201cI\u2019m going to watch it. I\u2019m not hating on it. I\u2019m excited for them, the new generation. It\u2019s such a, it\u2019s a wave. I hope they enjoy riding the wave, no matter how short or long it lasts. I think it\u2019s going to be good.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s got [Alex] Baskin<\/strong> behind it again and they\u2019re not going to put out a show that\u2019s not great. I think they found some magic again,\u201d he continued. \u201cI\u2019m not saying it\u2019s the same magic that we had, we were a particularly twisted group of people, but yeah.
