In the network\u2019s latest original series \u2014 appropriately titled Virgins<\/i> \u2014 four adults who have yet to experience sexual intercourse in their 30s and 40s are ready to navigate love, intimacy and self-discovery.<\/p>\n

Ashley Iaconetti, Sean Lowe, Colton Underwood and Becca Tilley are just a few of the cast members who famously spoke out on TV about holding onto their V-cards. \u201cI feel like people think I\u2019m less of a man because of that. For Rhasha Newkirk<\/strong>, she decided to join the show after experiencing a sexless marriage that ended in divorce.<\/p>\n

As the cast continues to embrace vulnerability in hopes of obtaining confidence, connection and self-love, Rhasha, 42, and Alex, 34, are answering our burning questions about their love lives.<\/p>\n

Why Are Alex and Rhasha Still Virgins?<\/b><\/h3>\n

As explained on Virgins<\/i>, every participant has their reasons as to why they haven\u2019t had sex just yet.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m one of 10 and I have a different outlook on relationships and life compared to other guys,\u201d Alex said. \u201cI want to make sure that the girl that I\u2019m with has the same respect and care that I want my cousins to deal with or my sisters to deal with.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alex said he never liked one-night stands and preferred to develop an emotional relationship before things got physical. \u201cConnect with me,\u201d he explained. \u201cGive me some emotion.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for Rhasha, her conservative childhood made her not rush into sexual relationships.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think my daddy set the standard,\u201d she said before explaining how past romances affected her. \u201cThe most difficult thing for me is feeling like I\u2019m enough. Going from my past marriage, that was a challenge for me. I\u2019m still working on that, but I know my worth, and I know that I am enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

While some reality stars experience an influx of strangers trying to grab their attention on social media, both Rhasha and Alex said they haven\u2019t experienced anything too crazy.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy DMs \u2014 surprise \u2014 are still dry,\u201d Rhasha said.<\/p>\n

Alex added, \u201cI do have DMs from some women, and then some men congratulated me and asked for advice because they might be in the same boat. But I\u2019ve gotten some DMs from some women. It\u2019s crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Is There Pressure to Take the Next Steps After the Show?<\/b><\/h3>\n

Since participating in the show, Alex admits that dating can be a \u201clittle tough.\u201d At the same time, he\u2019s proud to put himself out there and explore relationships.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s so many things that go through your mind, and like I said in the show, I\u2019m an overthinker,\u201d Alex said. \u201cI don\u2019t want to overthink it, but it just happens.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rhasha added, \u201cOh, my goodness. I feel the same way. It is something that happened and I feel good about it, and I\u2019m going to take it day by day and we\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n
