Bruce Springsteen<\/strong><\/a> was heavily involved in his upcoming biopic, Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere<\/em> \u2014 much to the delight of the actor portraying him.<\/p>\n

The music legend, 75, said in an interview with Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>, published on Thursday, June 19, that Jeremy Allen White<\/strong><\/a> was \u201cvery, very tolerant\u201d of him during the days Springsteen appeared on set.<\/p>\n

\u201cI said to him, \u2018Look, anytime I\u2019m in the way, just give me the look and I\u2019m on my way home.\u2019 So the days that I got out there, he was wonderfully tolerant with me being there,\u201d the \u201cDancing in the Dark\u201d hitmaker told the outlet. \u201cAnd it was just fun. It was enjoyable.\u201d<\/p>\n

White, 34, was seen channeling<\/a> The Boss in the film\u2019s first trailer, released on Wednesday, June 18, including moments that unveiled his musical talents. (Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere<\/em> is scheduled for release on October 24.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJeremy Allen White got a visit from The Boss while filming the upcoming biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere. Bruce Springsteen was photographed chatting with White, 33, on the movie\u2019s set in Bayonne, New Jersey, on Monday, November 4. White channeled the 75-year-old music legend while wearing a leather jacket and dark pants. Springsteen, meanwhile, donned [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the trailer, the Bear<\/em><\/a> star is seen in character, strumming a guitar in a hotel room before a friend says, \u201cHey, Boss, can you do a mic check?\u201d White then clears his throat before he is heard humming.<\/p>\n

Another scene shows White playing the harmonica before he sings lyrics from Springstreen\u2019s acclaimed \u201cNebraska.\u201d<\/p>\n

Springsteen admitted to Rolling Stone<\/em> that being hands-on<\/a> during the film\u2019s process involved reliving moments from his past \u2014 which wasn\u2019t easy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, there\u2019s some unusualness to it because the movie involves, in some ways, some of the most painful days of my life,\u201d Springsteen explained. \u201cBut it was a great project, and Jeremy and Jeremy Strong<\/strong> [who plays manager Jon Landau] were both fantastic, terrific in it as were all the other actors.\u201d<\/p>\n

The singer also reflected on other casting choices, including Adolescence<\/em> creator and star Stephen Graham<\/strong>, who portrays Springsteen\u2019s father, Douglas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s out of this world, but everybody that was engaged in the film, they were all tremendous,\u201d Springsteen said.<\/p>\n
