As fans debate Huda Mustafa<\/strong>\u2019s appearance on Love Island USA<\/i><\/a>, one fellow reality TV personality knows which program might have been a better fit.<\/p>\n \u201cHuda, you should have [gone] on Love Is Blind<\/i>,\u201d Alexandra Byrd<\/strong>, who appeared on season 7 of the Netflix hit, said in a Tuesday, June 17, TikTok<\/a> video. \u201cYou\u2019re on the wrong show. Falling in love with a man after a week of knowing them? You would have fit right in. We would have accepted you with open arms.\u201d<\/p>\n Alex, 33, got engaged to Tim Godbee<\/strong> sight unseen during the Love Is Blind <\/i>pod experiment<\/a>. They ultimately split several days later after an off-camera argument. Huda, 24, meanwhile, is a current cast member on season 7 of Peacock\u2019s Love Island USA.<\/i><\/p>\n Huda, who wasted no time telling some of her castmates that she is a single mother, quickly set her sights on fellow OG contestant Jeremiah Brown<\/strong>. He recently chose to couple up with bombshell Iris Kendall<\/strong>, leaving Huda single<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cAs a fellow anxious-attachment girlie, I understand,\u201d Alex added in her social media video. \u201cThis is Love Island <\/i>[and] this is not Love Is Blind<\/i>. Y\u2019all are not getting married. Hell, he don\u2019t even know if he wants to be your kid\u2019s future stepfather. He would have gotten a lot of s*** if he said that on Love Is Blind, <\/i>but not Love Island \u2014 Love Island, <\/i>this isn\u2019t for that.\u201d<\/p>\n While Huda is still searching for love in the Fiji villa, her ex-partner recently defended her Love Island <\/i>stint.<\/p>\n \u201cAt the end of the day, I hope everyone remembers we\u2019re human,\u201d Noah Sheline<\/strong>, who shares 4-year-old daughter Arleigh with Huda, wrote in a social media statemen<\/a>t earlier this week. \u201cHer going on that show to find love, or whatever you think it was she\u2019s doing, remember she\u2019s still human, she has a daughter, and a life.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cShe\u2019s maybe not doing a great job idk I don\u2019t watch the show, but I don\u2019t like that I\u2019m seeing so much negative s*** on my page or even clips of it about her.
