Miley Cyrus<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 relationship with Maxx Morando<\/strong> has an unexpected similarity to her mom, Tish Cyrus<\/strong><\/a>, and sister Brandi Cyrus<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 own romances.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat does it say about the three of us that, technically, we are all cougars?\u201d Brandi, 37, quipped on the Thursday, June 19, episode of her and Tish\u2019s \u201cSorry We\u2019re Cyrus\u201d podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Miley, 32, has been dating Morando, 26,<\/a> since 2022, while Brandi is in a relationship with Matt Southcombe<\/strong>, who is 36. Their mother, 58-year-old Tish, is married to actor Dominic Purcell<\/strong>, who is three years her junior. (Tish shares Miley, Braison and Noah with ex-husband Billy Ray Cyrus<\/strong>, who also adopted Tish\u2019s kids<\/a> Brandi and Trace from a past relationship.)<\/p>\n

\u201c[It says] so many things,\u201d Miley said on the podcast. \u201cAm I the landslide? \u2026 [Maxx] will be 27 when I turn 33, which I\u2019m so excited for him to turn 27 \u2018cause that was such a great year for me. I\u2019m just hoping that, as long as he follows in my footsteps, everything is going to be great. That\u2019s right when I started turning my life around.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tish, who noted that she \u201cnever\u201d thought about being older than 55-year-old Purcell, also wanted to know about Brandi\u2019s perspective.<\/p>\n

\u201cWait, you and Matt, at some point, [will you be] the same age?\u201d Tish inquired. \u201c\u2018Cause it\u2019s only a year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Southcombe, meanwhile, chimed in from off-camera to playfully correct his girlfriend\u2019s mother.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m 36 right now,\u201d he said, before Brandi then realized that they \u201cwon\u2019t ever be the same age.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tish then added that she and Purcell<\/a> are sometimes \u201conly two years apart\u201d in between birthdays.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe and Maxx \u2026 sometimes we\u2019re only four [years apart] for three days,\u201d Miley replied, before acknowledging his astrology sign. \u201cWe\u2019re only a couple of days apart. He\u2019s a Scorpio [and] so is his grandfather, that\u2019s what makes Maxx just so cool because he can sting. Like, very cool [and they] think that they\u2019re little angels until it turns around and they got a sting.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cI couldn\u2019t be with someone [who] doesn\u2019t sting. They would have been toast already.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later in the podcast<\/a> episode, Miley further joked that she\u2019s currently \u201cobsessed\u201d with her boyfriend when pressed to choose favorite books, shows and rituals.<\/p>\n
