Kristin Cavallari has rubbished suggestions she gained financially from her divorce with Jay Cutler<\/p>\n
The 38-year-old reality star’s divorce from the former NFL quarterback was finalised in 2022 – two years after they initially split – and she has rubbished suggestions that both she and her brand Uncommon James have benefitted financially from the separation.<\/p>\n
Speaking in the latest episode of her series Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, Kristin said: “Our revenue is close to $50 million a year, but because I was obviously a WAG – athletes’ wives and girlfriends, if you’re not familiar – people love to say that everything I have in my life is because of my ex-husband, and that my ex-husband funded Uncommon James. But I am, to this day, 100 per cent owner, and I’ve never taken any outside funding.”<\/p>\n
The Very Cavallari star added: “I have never gotten a penny from my ex-husband. I didn’t get any money from our divorce, so let’s just clear that up.”<\/p>\n
Kristin admits that she hated being defined as a WAG during her marriage to the former Chicago Bears player.<\/p>\n
\nIn conversation with Camille Kostek – who previously dated the retired New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski – she said: “In society, you have to have a man.<\/p>\n
\n“Then in the WAG world, you have to have a man, but you’re only supposed to be arm candy and really, you have no identity. Football fans love to diminish me and who I am and (say) I was only famous because of Jay. I’m like, what? Okay. I was on TV.”<\/p>\n
\nCavallari continued: “Honestly, I’m just so sick of talking about my marriage.<\/p>\n
\n“Men can be praised for staying single and busting their ass in their career. Women deserve the same thing. We should still be chasing our dreams, whether we’re with a man or not.”<\/p>\n
\nKristin has been romantically linked to several men following her divorce from Cutler but suggested that it would take someone “special” to convince her to start another serious romantic relationship.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “It’s gonna take someone really f****** special for me to want to continue to make them a priority and make time for someone.<\/p>\n
\n“I want someone who is my rock, who I can really lean on and really trust, because I’ve never experienced that in a relationship.”<\/p>\n
