\t\t<\/p>\n WARNING: This post contains spoilers from the latest episode of The Walking Dead: Dead City!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Tonight\u2019s (June 15) episode of The Walking Dead: Dead City<\/strong><\/a><\/em> brought back a familiar face in a surprise return ahead of the season two finale. <\/p>\n Star Jeffrey Dean Morgan<\/strong><\/a> opened up about the actor\u2019s comeback in the episode, which he said he\u2019s always wanted to happen. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n In episode seven, Jeffrey\u2019s real-life wife Hilarie Burton<\/strong><\/a> reprised her The Walking Dead<\/em> character, Lucille, who is also his character Negan\u2019s late wife. <\/p>\n Lucille\u2019s return was brought in by way of hallucination as Negan grappled with a sick Ginny and reflected on past misgivings. <\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve been trying to figure out a way to bring her back into the show since she came on the first time,\u201d he told People <\/a><\/em>of her appearance. \u201cI always wanted her back.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cEli<\/strong> figured out a way to bring her back, and we did,\u201d he added, referring to showrunner Eli Jorn\u00e9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Hilarie<\/strong> first played Lucille in The Walking Dead<\/em>\u2018s season 10 finale via flashbacks. <\/p>\n The Walking Dead: Dead City<\/em> season two will come to a conclusion NEXT Sunday (June 22) on AMC. <\/p>\n In case you missed it, Hilarie<\/strong> is set to reprise another role<\/a> from a popular show\u2026<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
