In a recent interview with the \u201cGood Guys\u201d podcast, Chace Crawford opened up about how he was typecast in similar roles to that of Nate Archibald on the CW’s hit show, Gossip Girl<\/i>.<\/p>\n
\u201cI felt like I was in the wilderness for years after \u2018Gossip Girl,\u2019 because as big of a show as it was, coming off of it as a still young guy, [I felt like], \u2018Oh, that\u2019s not cool anymore,\u2019\u201d said Crawford. \u201cI\u2019m in this jail of the CW pretty boy who has no range.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was not lost on me, how difficult after those four years of some false starts on some TV shows, it could be difficult to find another thing. I was really, really appreciative when this happened \u2026 after being on something like \u2018Gossip Girl.\u2019 [It\u2019s] not that I took it for granted, it was so fresh and I was so young, that by the end of it, you inevitably have taken some of it for granted.\u201d<\/p>\n
