\t\t<\/p>\n Chace Crawford<\/strong><\/a> is looking back at life after Gossip Girl<\/strong><\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n The 39-year-old actor starred as Nate Archibald in The CW teen drama, which ran for six seasons from 2007 to 2012.<\/p>\n In a new interview, Chace<\/strong> admitted that he felt trapped \u201cin this box\u201d after Gossip Girl<\/em> ended before landing a role on The Boys.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cI felt like I was in the wilderness for years after Gossip Girl<\/em>, because as big of a show as it was, coming off of it as a still young guy, [I felt like], \u2018Oh, that\u2019s not cool anymore,\u2019\u201d Chace<\/strong> explained on the Good Guys<\/em> podcast<\/a>. \u201cAnd I\u2019m in this box now. I\u2019m in this jail of like the CW pretty boy, who has no range. So, I felt that, and I was probably harder on myself than I needed to be.\u201d <\/p>\n He went on to say that he was attracted to The Boys<\/em> because it was \u201cso out there and original and weird.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt was great,\u201d Chace<\/strong> said of his audition. \u201cI was so happy to have another job that I was excited about and that the character was so different from anything that I had done before.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBut it was not lost on me, how difficult after those four years of some false starts on some TV shows, it could be difficult to find another thing.
