Ice-T<\/strong><\/a> has been a staple on Law & Order: SVU <\/i><\/a>for decades, crossing paths with many famous guest stars along the way \u2014 including Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201c[My daughter, Chanel] likes Carpenter,\u201d Ice-T, 67, exclusively told Us Weekly <\/i>while celebrating National Iced Tea Day with Raising Cane\u2019s<\/a>. \u201c[She] was actually on Law & Order<\/i> when she was a kid. I actually did scenes with her.\u201d<\/p>\n Long before Carpenter, 26, became a Grammy-winning pop princess<\/a>, she made her acting debut on SVU <\/i>season 12, portraying a young victim of child pornography. Ice-T, for his part, stars as Detective Odafin Tutuola on the hit crime procedural, though he jokingly told Us <\/i>that he remembers \u201cnothing\u201d about Carpenter\u2019s cameo.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t know who she was, but now they\u2019re like, \u2018You don\u2019t know you were in a scene<\/a> with Sabrina Carpenter?\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018OK, cool. Got it, got it, got it.\u2019 But now, she\u2019s a superstar,\u201d Ice-T added to Us. <\/i>\u201cObviously, she was a great actress. Kevin Hart<\/strong> said it best, [whenever he\u2019s] asked about his kids, how they feel about him being in any movies, he\u2019s like, \u2018They don\u2019t care now. You bring a TikTokker in here, they lose their f***ing mind.\u201d<\/p>\n Ice-T shares Chanel, 9,<\/a> with wife Coco Austin<\/strong>, but the rapper mused that he won\u2019t be able to play \u201ccool dad\u201d much longer.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t have any ins in her world,\u201d he joked. \u201cAll my ins [are] already her uncles and aunts. I think we took her to see Olivia Rodrigo<\/strong>. She likes her [and] she likes Billie Eilish.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n Chanel\u2019s unofficial aunts and uncles extend to Ice-T\u2019s SVU<\/i> costars as he\u2019s been a part of the NBC cast for 26 years.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s amazing because I went on the show to do four episodes,\u201d he gushed to Us<\/i> of the series\u2019 milestone. \u201cIt just keeps giving, and every year we come out, we go through different changes. When Chris [Meloni]<\/strong> left, we didn\u2019t know how we were going to recalibrate, and we\u2019ve had so many different cast members, and the only two people that are there<\/a> are me and Mariska [Hargitay]<\/strong>. For some reason, it just keeps coming back, and the fans just love the show. I just think the show is part entertainment, part therapy.\u201d<\/p>\n
