Olympian Caitlyn Jenner<\/strong><\/a> is currently in Israel amid the ongoing unrest in the region.<\/p>\n

\u201cA \u2018quiet\u2019 night in Tel Aviv,\u201d Jenner, 75, wrote via Instagram<\/a> on Friday, June 13. \u201cThere is no place I\u2019d rather be than with the brave people of Israel. God, please continue to shield and protect us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jenner uploaded a photo of multiple missiles being fired across the city\u2019s skyline and intercepted by the country\u2019s missile defense system, known as the Iron Dome. She set her post to Pentatonix\u2019s cover of \u201cHallelujah.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jenner had traveled to Tel Aviv to attend their annual Pride Month<\/a> parade. Days earlier, the Israeli military launched airstrikes against Tehran amid the ongoing Middle Eastern conflict. Iran retaliated on Friday, launching ballistic missiles back at Israel. Reuters<\/a> reported that most of the missiles were intercepted and there were no immediate casualties.<\/p>\n

\u201cYesterday in Jerusalem,\u201d she captioned<\/a> a photo of herself at the Western Wall. \u201cMy heart is with Israel now and forever. \ud83c\uddee\ud83c\uddf1<\/span> \ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8<\/span> Evil shall not prevail!\u201d<\/p>\n

The State of Israel\u2019s official Instagram account replied, writing, \u201cCaitlyn, thank you for your true friendship and for standing strong with the people of Israel! \ud83c\uddee\ud83c\uddf1\u2764\ufe0f<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Caitlyn\u2019s daughter Kylie Jenner<\/strong> was initially wary about her parent\u2019s safety. (Caitlyn, who is transgender, shares Kylie and her sister Kendall Jenner<\/strong> with ex-wife Kris Jenner<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tCaitlyn Jenner has been married three times \u2014 and that\u2019s enough for her. \u201cI\u2019m fine. I\u2019m not even close to looking for a relationship,\u201d the Olympian, 73, recently told U.K.\u2019s The Times, explaining that she is \u201cvery single.\u201d \u201cI\u2019ll never have a relationship in the future,\u201d she emphasized. \u201cI just don\u2019t see that in my [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cShe was like, \u2018Oh my God, you\u2019re going to Israel?\u2019\u201d Caitlyn recalled to journalist Liron Namam. \u201cI said, \u2018Yeah, I\u2019m halfway there right now,\u2019 and she goes, \u2018You be safe and this and that.\u2019 I said, \u2018Don\u2019t you worry, I will be safe. They\u2019re going to take good care of me.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Caitlyn, who is also the parent of four older children<\/a>, further noted to reporters that she didn\u2019t inform her offspring about her travel plans to attend Pride overseas.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery time I have talked to someone about Israel and that they have the second biggest Pride event in the world, everyone is just shocked,\u201d she said, before joking, \u201cHonestly, I think you have a marketing problem.\u201d<\/p>\n
