Ricki Lake<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about the work she\u2019s had done after shedding 40 pounds.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had a lower face and neck lift,\u201d the former talk show host, 56, shared<\/a> on the Thursday, June 12, episode of Bravo\u2019s Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen<\/em><\/a>. \u201cI kind of think it\u2019s the best facelift I\u2019ve ever seen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lake gave a shout-out to her \u201cgenius\u201d plastic surgeon, Beverly Hills-based Dr. Allen Foulad<\/strong>, describing him as the \u201cbest.\u201d She said, \u201cI\u2019ve sent many people to him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can\u2019t see nothing! It\u2019s amazing.\u201d Lake continued. \u201cI\u2019m fully transparent, always have been. This is something that was bothering me. I lost a lot of weight and I had this thing hanging and I had it fixed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tRicki Lake rose to fame in 1988\u2019s Hairspray, playing self-proclaimed \u201cpleasantly plump\u201d leading lady Tracy Turnblad. \u201cBeing fat worked, and I think that was what was confusing for me for a long time in my career,\u201d Lake told Good Morning America in December 2010 after she lost 130 pounds. \u201cThrough my adolescence and, you know, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The results of Lake\u2019s procedure wowed host Andy Cohen<\/strong>, who told her, \u201cIt looks so good!\u201d In fact, Cohen, 57, joked, \u201cI\u2019m heading to L.A. for this!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve seen a lot of work in these \u2026 that\u2019s really good,\u201d he complimented the Hairspray<\/em> actress.<\/p>\n

Lake opened up about her 40-pound weight loss exclusively to Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> in January, revealing that she shed the pounds without using weight-loss drugs like Ozempic.<\/p>\n

\u201cI started October 26, 2023, and went on this journey,\u201d said Lake, who described herself as \u201cliving [her] best life.\u201d<\/p>\n

The television personality said that she began by \u201cfollowing a very strict keto diet\u201d that included intermittent fasting and hiking outside \u201cevery single day\u201d with a weighted vest.<\/p>\n

Since October 2023, Lake has also done Pilates \u201cfour days a week,\u201d which contributed to her losing 40 pounds and keeping it off.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tOzempic has become a hot topic when it comes to weight loss \u2014 with some stars confirming they have used the drug while others denied it. Chelsea Handler admitted during a January 2023 episode of the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast that she unknowingly took the Type 2 diabetes medication, which is traditionally used to improve [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI did not go on any drug because I wasn\u2019t prediabetic,\u201d she said, noting, \u201cThere\u2019s nothing wrong with those drugs. They\u2019re actually game changers for so many people. But for me, I did not want to be reliant on a drug if I could help it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Instead of using Ozempic or similar GLP-1 medications, Lake shared that she did her \u201cown thing,\u201d which was \u201cvery specific.\u201d<\/p>\n
