Lindsie Chrisley<\/strong><\/a> has remained largely tight-lipped about dad Todd Chrisley<\/strong> <\/a>in recent years\u2014 but she just made a rare comment about their dynamic following his release from prison.<\/p>\n

During the Wednesday, June 11, episode of her \u201cSouthern Tea\u201d podcast<\/a>, Lindsie, 35, shared a story about her childhood, saying, \u201cI kind of grew up in a house where on the weekends my parents didn\u2019t really care what time we were staying up until. As long as we weren\u2019t disturbing anybody else in the house, that\u2019s fine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lindsie specifically recalled Todd\u2019s parenting<\/a> style. \u201cIf it gets to be 10 a.m., Todd is coming in to wake your ass up,\u201d she noted. \u201cLike, \u2018You\u2019re not sleeping like that.\u2019 He\u2019s like, \u2018It\u2019s time to go \u2014 you gotta be productive.\u2019 And you better have your hair fixed and your makeup better be done. Doesn\u2019t matter if you\u2019re roaming around the house.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cWhen I got to college, I had never felt so more relieved in my life to be [at a point in my life where] I can bum around in a pair of sweats with no makeup on and with my hair on top of my head. And no one\u2019s gonna slander me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tLet the cameras roll. Chrisley Knows Best is certainly not without drama, but its stars have been at the center of more controversies than a single reality show can handle. Fans met Todd Chrisley, Julie Chrisley and their kids \u2014 Chase, Savannah and Grayson \u2014 when the series premiered on USA Network in March 2014. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lindsie doesn\u2019t often mention Todd, 56, on her multiple podcasts. She has yet to really react on the news that Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley<\/strong>, were released in May after President Donald Trump<\/strong> pardoned the former reality TV stars.<\/p>\n

Todd and Julie, 52, who is Lindsie\u2019s stepmother, were indicted in 2019 on charges of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud and conspiracy. After being found guilty in 2022, Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison. Julie received a seven-year sentence. The couple maintained their innocence and continued to appeal their sentences, which were reduced in September 2023 by nearly two years.<\/p>\n

After the news broke, Lindsie took to Instagram<\/a> with a subtle reaction, writing, \u201cWith God all things are possible.\u201d Lindsie was previously on the outs with Todd, which was documented on Chrisley Knows Best, but they seemed to mend their issues before he started serving out his prison sentence.<\/p>\n
