A TMI moment. <\/span>Mark Consuelos<\/strong><\/a> got his wife, <\/span>Kelly Ripa<\/strong><\/a>, to cry from laughter on air \u2014 and for the most hilarious reason.<\/span>The Riverdale<\/em><\/a> alum, 52, showed off footage of his recent trip to Campobasso, Italy, on the Tuesday, May 9, episode of Live With Kelly and Mark<\/em><\/a>. While taking a tour of the soccer stadium Stadio Nuovo Romagnoli, Consuelos injured his leg while shooting goals on the field<\/a>. In footage of his treatment from a physiotherapist, the actor\u2019s crotch was pixelated, leaving Ripa wiping her eyes with a tissue.<\/p>\n \u201cAre you crying?\u201d the former All My Children<\/em><\/a> star asked Ripa, to which she responded, \u201cNo, I\u2019m laughing because [of] the pixelation of your crotch.\u201d<\/p>\n Perhaps what Ripa found funnier than her husband\u2019s lower body censorship was how he signed autographs and took pictures with the stadium\u2019s staff while chilling in his underwear. \u201cI love the fact that the doctor brought his whole family in<\/a>,\u201d she said of the physiotherapist bringing his wife, kids and dog into the treatment room for a group photo.<\/p>\n Following the hilarious footage, Consuelos shared more details about his injury. \u201cWhat happened is I am so old \u2014 I haven\u2019t kicked a soccer ball in so long. When I kicked it, I felt something pull slash tear<\/a>. I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, this is not good,\u2019\u201d he explained during the ABC talk show, noting that staff members assisted him upon noticing he had developed a limp.<\/p>\n Consuelos continued: \u201cThey were so sweet. They were such a great time. It meant so much to the city of Campobasso.\u201d<\/p>\n The couple \u2014 who share kids Michael, 25, Lola, 21, and Joaquin, 20 \u2014 became co-owners of the soccer team Campobasso 1919 in November 2022. \u201cWe fell in love with the club\u2019s rich history and their underdog story. After being so close to losing the sport they loved, we are proud to be part of Campobasso\u2019s journey,\u201d the two captioned identical Instagram<\/a> posts of themselves sporting the club\u2019s jersey<\/a> at the time.<\/p>\n Consuelos shared more footage from his Italy trip via his Instagram, including him hanging out with the team<\/a> and its fans<\/a>, as well as a video of the kick<\/a> that caused him to hurt his leg.<\/p>\n The Cop Out<\/em> actor joined Ripa as her Live<\/em> cohost<\/a> on April 17, two months after Ryan Seacrest<\/strong><\/a> announced his departure<\/a> from the series. \u201cThis show today truly felt like home,\u201d Consuelos exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> of his hosting debut. \u201cI always feel at home with Kelly but [working] together this morning just felt so right.\u201d<\/p>\n He added: \u201cKelly and I have always [felt] the most [at] ease when we\u2019re together and I feel so lucky we get to do that daily.\u201d<\/p>\n Ripa, for her part, told Us<\/em><\/a> later that month that she felt \u201cso proud\u201d of her husband, noting that she was \u201cnever worried\u201d about him following in Seacrest\u2019s footsteps.<\/p>\n \u201cThe thing I love about Mark is how funny he is,\u201d she gushed. \u201cThe advice I gave him<\/a> was to just keep being yourself, enjoy every moment and be present.
