Two years after their affair first made headlines<\/a>, \u201can engagement is coming\u201d for Holmes and Amy Robach<\/strong><\/a>, a source tells Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been in the works for a while,\u201d the insider shares.<\/p>\n

Robach, 52, turned heads at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards<\/a> in March when she showed off a purple sparkler<\/a> on that<\/em> finger, but the insider says it is just a \u201cpromise ring\u201d and a \u201csign of the next step that they will take.\u201d<\/p>\n

Holmes\u2019 reported romance made headlines in November 2022 when the TV personalities \u2014 both married to other people \u2014 were photographed getting cozy on various outings throughout the month. The pictures, first published by the Daily Mail, showed the pair holding hands in a car, laughing at a [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

That said, the source teases that a proposal could happen \u201cany day\u201d and likely will be announced on the ousted GMA3<\/em> coanchors\u2019 \u201cAmy & T.J.\u201d podcast \u201cwhen the time is right.\u201d<\/p>\n

Holmes, 47, and Robach\u2019s wedding will not be \u201cflashy,\u201d per the insider \u2014 but they do \u201cplan on inviting\u201d their respective ex-spouses, Marilee Fiebig<\/strong><\/a> and Andrew Shue<\/strong><\/a>, who are now dating<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow they got together is not traditional, so they want the engagement and wedding this time around to be their own style \u2014 modest and simple,\u201d the source tells Us<\/em>. \u201cThey want to share their vows in front of the closest people who matter to them to demonstrate how much they love each other and are committed to each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

The ABC personalities raised eyebrows in November 2022 when they were caught getting cozy in photos published by the Daily Mail. According to the outlet, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Robach first hinted at a future engagement<\/a> on \u201cAmy & T.J.\u201d in December 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not an if, it\u2019s a when. I like that. I actually appreciate that,\u201d she told listeners, to which Holmes agreed that he would like to remarry \u201csooner rather than later.\u201d<\/p>\n

The news of the couple\u2019s romance broke in November 2022 while they were still married to Fiebig, 47, and Shue, 58. ABC fired Holmes and Robach<\/a> for their off-screen relationship in January 2023.<\/p>\n
