\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Sad news for fans of Fantasy Island<\/strong><\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n On Tuesday (May 9), Fox<\/strong><\/a> announced that they were cancelling the reboot series \u2013 starring Roselyn S\u00e1nchez<\/strong><\/a>, Kiara Barnes<\/strong><\/a>, and John Gabriel Rodriquez<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 after two seasons.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe were very pleased with Fantasy Island<\/em>\u2018s fun and escapist creative, which we had hoped would gain strong traction among viewers,\u201d Fox shared in a statement with TV Line<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019d also like to thank Fantasy Island<\/em>\u2019s cast, led by Roselyn S\u00e1nchez, Kiara Barnes and John Gabriel Rodriquez, crew and executive producers Liz Craft, Sarah Fain and Anne Clements for their partnership on the series,\u201d the statement continued.<\/p>\n The season two finale \u2013 which aired on Monday, May 8 \u2013 now serves as the series finale.<\/p>\n Fantasy Island<\/em> was a continuation of the original series which aired from 1977 to 1984.<\/p>\n Fox has already cancelled three other shows and renewed nine more (so far)<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
