\t\t<\/p>\n Donald<\/strong><\/a> and Melania Trump<\/strong><\/a> did not receive the warmest welcome as they arrived at their first show at the Kennedy Center.<\/p>\n The 78-year-old President and the 55-year-old First Lady made a rare public appearance together at the opening night Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/em><\/strong> held at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n The night marked the first event the couple has attended at the Kennedy Center after Trump<\/strong>, just a few days into his second presidential term, named himself as chairman of the Kennedy Center<\/a> and got rid of most of what he called \u201cwoke\u201d leadership, installing a new board of conservative supporters in their place. <\/p>\n As he and Melania<\/strong> arrived at the event, they were met with a mix of applause and boos, as seen in a video shared on YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>Vice President J.D. They were previously booed by an audience at the Kennedy Center back in March as they tried sitting in the Kennedy Center balcony to watch the National Symphony Orchestra.<\/p>\n Ahead of opening night of Les Mis<\/em>, CNN<\/a> reported a few weeks ago that at least 10 of the 12 actors in the musical were not planning on the night that Trump<\/strong> attended. The cast was reportedly given the option to not perform, and many opted out.<\/p>\n While walking the red carpet, Trump<\/strong> was asked about those actors boycotting him.<\/p>\n \u201cI couldn\u2019t care less,\u201d Trump<\/strong> told Fox News<\/a>. \u201cHonestly, I couldn\u2019t.
