Websites hosted on official U.S. government domains have been <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2023\/06\/02\/scammers-publish-ads-for-hacking-services-on-government-websites\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hijacked in the past<\/a> to host scam ads and hacking services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Wednesday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.404media.co\/spam-blogs-ai-slop-domains-wowlazy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">404 Media reported<\/a> that the vaccines HHS website is part of a wider spam operation that includes websites owned by NPR, Nvidia, and Stanford University, all of which redirect to \u201ca nonsense SEO spam page,\u201d as 404 Media journalist Sam Cole called it, hosted on wowlazy.com.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HHS did not respond to TechCrunch\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/06\/11\/us-governments-vaccine-website-defaced-with-ai-generated-content\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A U.S. government website designed to inform the public about vaccines has been defaced and now hosts apparently AI-generated spam.
