YouTuber P2istheName<\/strong>\u2019s cause of death has been revealed.<\/p>\n

The content creator, real name Philip Enewall<\/strong>y, died in March at the age of 26<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Enewally died from sudden cardiac dysfunction due to a rare heart condition known as solitary papillary muscle hypertrophy, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner\u2019s office said<\/a> in a Tuesday, June 10, news release. His death was determined to be from natural causes.<\/p>\n

\u201cSolitary papillary muscle hypertrophy is a subtype of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which is a risk factor for a sudden fatal cardiac event,\u201d the Medical Examiner\u2019s office said.<\/p>\n

Enewally was found unconscious in a mail room inside his Los Angeles residence on March 14. He was pronounced dead at the scene at around 3:11 p.m. local time by fire department personnel who responded to the scene.<\/p>\n

Enewally\u2019s mother confirmed his death to TMZ<\/a> on March 15, asking that the family\u2019s privacy be respected as they grieve. She also encouraged people to visit his YouTube channel as a way to honor his memory.<\/p>\n

Enewally was a YouTuber with nearly 4 million subscribers to his channel P2istheName, known for his gaming videos \u2014 in which he played NBA 2K<\/em> and Fortnite<\/em> \u2014 as well as vlogs and pranks, among other video formats.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy good friend @P2istheName has passed away\u2026 wow. I\u2019m honestly at a loss for words,\u201d fellow YouTuber ColetheMan<\/strong> wrote via X<\/a> at the time. \u201cHe was always so kind to me and gave me so much content creation advice. May he rest in peace. This breaks my heart.\u201d<\/p>\n
