I think it\u2019s the very beginning of the first episode of season 1, we\u2019re driving in the car and Ginny turns down the music, and she\u2019s like, \u2018He\u2019s nine,\u2019 and I feel like that\u2019s the only time we\u2019ve mentioned it\u2026 he hasn\u2019t had a birthday yet,\u201d Diesel<\/strong> shared with Teen Vogue<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n \u201cWell, honestly, we kind of ignore it a little bit!\u201d he added with a laugh. \u201cIt\u2019s kind of just like\u2026 there\u2019s a 14-year-old sitting at the table with Harry Potter glasses on that\u2019s supposed to be nine. And that\u2019s okay! In some shots I did have to bend my knees a little bit to look a little shorter than Toni<\/strong><\/a>, or they got her an apple box a few times, but for the most part we\u2019ve kind of just kept the show running.\u201d<\/p>\n Diesel<\/strong> also talked about the challenges of playing a nine-year-old for so many years \u2013 it\u2019s been six years since he first started working on the show. <\/p>\n \u201cPlaying a nine-year-old for six years when you are growing\u2026 I\u2019ve grown with him, but I\u2019ve also kind of departed from him because I was eight when we started, now I\u2019m 14,\u201d the actor said. \u201cThere are a lot of differences in the way that he would move and act and speak.
