A very merry Christmas in July! Hallmark Channel hunk Kevin McGarry<\/strong><\/a> has become a big star on the network since his first TV movie \u2014 and his role in 2022\u2019s My Grown-Up Christmas<\/em> list will only make fans love him more.<\/p>\n

The 37-year-old actor made his Hallmark debut in 2015\u2019s Signed, Sealed, Delivered: From Paris With Love<\/em><\/a> nearly a decade after he broke into the entertainment industry. In 2019, he starred in three holiday-inspired movies for the network, including Winter Castle <\/em>and Christmas Scavenger Hunt<\/em>.<\/p>\n

That same year, McGarry found a more permanent home on Hallmark Channel<\/a> playing Mountie Nathan Grant on When Calls the Heart<\/em><\/a>. He also had a recurring role on When Hope Calls<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, the Heartland<\/em> alum was part of two films in the Wedding Veil<\/em> trilogy and reunited with his When Calls the Heart<\/em> costar Kayla Wallace<\/strong> for the summer movie Feeling Butterflies<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The twosome, who are dating in real life<\/a>, will show a different kind of love story in the new Christmas in July film<\/a>, My Grown-Up Christmas List<\/em>, which premieres on Saturday, July 9.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing a part of this movie was great. It was just a dream come true,\u201d McGarry told the Digital Journal<\/a> on Tuesday, July 5. \u201cGetting to work with Kayla again was amazing. I\u2019ve worked with the director Andrew [Cymek]<\/strong> before and it was a fun set.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the movie, McGarry plays a soldier named Luke Malone<\/a>, who falls for journalist Taylor Nichols (Wallace) while home from duty over the holidays. Despite having an instant connection, the couple\u2019s bond is tested as they spend the course of several Christmases both apart and together.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis movie is a vignette of the relationship between Luke and Taylor,\u201d the Hometown Holiday<\/em> actor explained. \u201cIt jumps through the years relatively quickly. I like how committed Luke is to his loved ones.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wallace, for her part, teased the film via social media on Tuesday<\/a> after the actors returned home from their getaway to Italy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis cool cat and I have a new movie coming out this Saturday \ud83e\udd19\ud83c\udffc,\u201d the 33-year-old actress captioned a series of goofy snaps of the stars on set.<\/p>\n
