{"id":173852,"date":"2025-06-10T23:09:18","date_gmt":"2025-06-10T23:09:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2025\/06\/10\/below-deck-star-fraser-olender-talks-chef-lawrence-snowdens-early-exit-from-season-12\/"},"modified":"2025-06-10T23:09:18","modified_gmt":"2025-06-10T23:09:18","slug":"below-deck-star-fraser-olender-talks-chef-lawrence-snowdens-early-exit-from-season-12","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2025\/06\/10\/below-deck-star-fraser-olender-talks-chef-lawrence-snowdens-early-exit-from-season-12\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Below Deck\u2019 Star Fraser Olender Talks Chef Lawrence Snowden\u2019s Early Exit From Season 12"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/tags\/fraser-olender\/\" title=\"Fraser Olender\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Fraser Olender<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/tags\/below-deck\/\" title=\"Below Deck\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Below Deck<\/strong><\/a><\/em> season 12 and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/tags\/lawrence-snowden\/\" title=\"Lawrence Snowden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Chef Lawrence Snowden<\/strong><\/a> quitting very early on. <\/p>\n<p>The 32-year-old <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/tags\/bravo\/\" title=\"Bravo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Bravo<\/strong><\/a> star is in his fourth season on the show and his third as Chief Stew, while the chef was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/2025\/06\/02\/below-deck-season-12-cast-meet-the-3-returning-stars-7-new-crew-members-joining\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a brand new addition <\/a>this year. <\/p>\n<p>However, as shown in the first episode of season 12, <strong>Chef Lawrence<\/strong> quickly became quite overwhelmed in the galley and by the end of the episode, told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/tags\/kerry-titheredge\/\" title=\"Kerry Titheredge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Captain Kerry<\/strong><\/a> that he was quitting. In this week\u2019s episode, the second of the season, <strong>Lawrence<\/strong> fully quit and a chef from the season before was brought on to take his place. <\/p>\n<p>In a new interview, <strong>Fraser<\/strong> talked about the chef\u2019s early exit and how he just couldn\u2019t handle all that was going on. <\/p>\n<p><strong class=\"hidearticle\"><em>Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><span id=\"more-2117457\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>On SiriusXM\u2019s <em><a href=\"https:\/\/siriusxm.us\/RealityCheckedPR\" onclick=\"getOutboundLink(&#039;https:\/\/siriusxm.us\/RealityCheckedPR&#039;); return false;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reality Checked with Dorinda Medley &amp; Kiki Monique<\/a><\/em>, <strong>Kiki<\/strong> noted, \u201cHe\u2019s brand new and I will say, he has never been on reality TV at all. He doesn\u2019t seem comfortable with it and at the end of first episode, I don\u2019t even know. It seems like he might quit. How did he even end up on a yacht full of cameras when it\u2019s clear he does not want to be in front of the camera?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fraser <\/strong>responded, \u201cYou\u2019re asking the same question as everyone else in America right now. I think that you know what you\u2019re getting into. I can assure you that the cameras are not physically in your face. They\u2019re not intrusive that way. I think it might potentially be a cop out. I\u2019m not spreading the rumor. I\u2019m just saying it\u2019s an option guys. I\u2019m not taking that away from him, but I haven\u2019t got time for you to throw a hissy fit within 24 hours of joining this vessel,\u201d the Chief Stew said. \u201cI have not got the time \u2019cause guess what? I\u2019m stressed too. I\u2019m crying too. I\u2019m panicking too, but guess what? Put it that way,\u201d he said. \u201cIf we are not getting between 20, okay, I\u2019ll scrap that. 25 and 30 for the time we\u2019ve done. I don\u2019t care if that\u2019s one day, three days, or five. I\u2019m waiting for that amount of cash and if you can\u2019t, you know, if you\u2019re not coming with that to be expected, just don\u2019t bother.
