\t\t<\/p>\n Judge Arun Subramanian<\/strong><\/a> is denying Diddy<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s team\u2019s motion for a mistrial.<\/p>\n The legal team of the 55-year-old music mogul requested for a mistrial, based on the testimony of ex Cassie<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s friend Bryana Bongolan<\/strong><\/a>, who claimed that he dangled her over a 17th-story apartment balcony in Los Angeles in 2016.<\/p>\n The defense claimed that the friend and Cassie <\/strong>lied about the balcony incident, alleging that the testimony was perjured, per NBC News.<\/a><\/p>\n The defense said that Diddy<\/strong> was on the East Coast at the time of the alleged incident, staying at the Trump Hotel in New York. <\/p>\n The judge ruled that this was not enough to be considered a mistrial, and that the defense did not object to her testimony, and they were allowed to conduct a cross-examination.<\/p>\n Judge Arun Subramanian<\/strong> added that \u201cthe government screwed up,\u201d but that wasn\u2019t grounds for a mistrial.
