The 40-year-old star was singing her 2008 hit ‘Hot N Cold’ during a gig in Sydney, Australia on Monday (09.06.25) when a man crashed the stage and put his arm around her.<\/p>\n
As seen in a video shared by fans on X, Katy quickly moved out of his reach as he kept jumping and dancing.<\/p>\n
Two security guards quickly rushed the stage, while the man tried to avoid them.<\/p>\n
Katy quipped: “Well, there\u2019s never going to be another show like this. So just enjoy it, Sydney.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe kept performing, while security were able to pull the man to the side stage, where two more members of security helped them forcibly removed him.<\/p>\n
\nWhile this incident was real, it follows a promotional skit last month when Katy halted a gig to tell a fan to stop messaging her fianc\u00e9 Orlando Bloom.<\/p>\n
\nDuring the US leg of her ‘Lifetimes’ world tour, the ‘Roar’ hitmaker paused her gig in Paradise, Nevada to single out an audience member named Kyle.<\/p>\n
\nWhile addressing Kyle over private messages allegedly sent to her partner, Katy crouched on stage and told him: \u201cI know why you’re here. Listen, if you keep DM-ing my man… you’ve been doing it for months, ever since the residency. You didn’t come to see me play.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAs the audience reacted with laughter and cheers, she continued: \u201cIf you keep on DM-ing my man I’m going to have you removed \u2013 seriously, get your own life.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nRaising her voice, she added: \u201cHe don’t want you, Kyle. I’m his wife. I’m his, he’s mine… stay the f*** away.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nKyle appeared visibly shocked and turned to friends as Katy resumed the set. <\/p>\n
\nBut the confrontation was later revealed to be a scripted segment of the performance, leading into her 2024 single \u2018I\u2019m His, He\u2019s Mine\u2019.<\/p>\n
